		<description>Yeah, several cousins and an aunt have migrated up here to DFW.  I'm a bit worried about mum and pop, however.  They'd leave, but mum has to work (she does alarm monitoring).

Of course, she works in a small one story building in Baytown...  lovely.  I gently suggested that she tell them to get lost, but she declined.

On the other hand, my sister lives in Bay City which for a while looked to take the brunt.  The nursing home she worked for sat on their thumbs, waiting for their corporate offices to tell them to evacuate.  Apparently nobody thought to take the initiative to decide, or to call, themselves.

So now they want her to be there for 12+ hour shifts during the storm.  Did I mention she is 8 1/2 months pregnant?  She, at least, told them where they could go...</description>
